## Scope

Taiwan. The chip designer's own page says it employs artificial intelligence in certain aspects of the chip design process to make up for a lack of existing tools, that the algorithm has already been applied to the creation of the Dimensity mobile chip series and will be used in other product lines, and that the smart EDA tool developed with collaborators enabled a line-up that outperforms products designed with traditional methods in power, performance, area and schedule. The company's own claim, limited to 'certain aspects'; it gives no change in engineers' time.
