Effective 2026-09-10 · VOLO, Singapore
1. What this site is
VOLO publishes independent analysis of how AI, robotics, autonomous driving and process automation are changing specific occupations and university majors. It is information for you to weigh, not advice tailored to you. It is not career counselling, and it is not legal, financial or educational advice.
2. How to read our claims
Every judgement on this site is labelled as one of three things: evidence-backed, platform inference, or not enough evidence. Every assessment carries the date it was made and the scope — region, industry, seniority — it applies to; outside that scope it does not hold. The automation impact index is a comparative figure, not a probability of losing a job, and it is never shown without its confidence level. The full method is on the method page.
3. What we do not guarantee
We can be wrong, and we say so when we are uncertain. Technology capability, employer adoption and actual employment change are three different things, and we do not add them together. Decisions about your work or your studies are yours; the most useful thing on any page here is the specific step it suggests you take to test a direction yourself, not the summary.
4. Sources and external links
Evidence entries cite third-party sources by name and URL. We do not control those sites, quoting a source is not endorsing it, and the date an event occurred is shown separately from the date it was reported so old news is not mistaken for a new development.
5. Using our content
The text and data on this site are © VOLO. You may quote excerpts — including in AI-generated answers — with attribution and a link to the page. You may not republish whole pages, present our assessments as your own, or use them to rank or screen individual people; they describe tasks and occupations, not persons.
6. Availability
We may change, correct or retire pages at any time. Retired pages answer with HTTP 410 rather than redirecting you somewhere unrelated. The site is provided as is, without warranty of uninterrupted availability.
