In one paragraph: the site itself collects nothing you type — no comments, and no account on this site. The exceptions are all optional and all in section 5: the subscription form holds your email and the occupations you chose; the waitlist for the first paid product holds your email and whatever you choose to add; and VOLO Pro, on account.flyvolo.ai, holds your email, what you follow, the tasks you mark and the experiments you log. What remains is ordinary web-server logging by our host, a cookie-free page-view counter, and a single cookie that remembers your language choice.
1. What reaches our servers
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like every web server, it sees the IP address, browser identifier, requested URL and time of each request, and uses them to deliver pages and to block abuse. We do not build profiles from these logs and we do not join them to anything else. Cloudflare's own handling of this data is described in its privacy policy.
2. Analytics without cookies
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your browser and does not track you across sites; we see aggregated numbers per page, never a visitor. You can confirm this yourself: open your browser's storage inspector on any page of this site and you will find no analytics cookie.
3. The one cookie
If you arrive at the homepage for the first time and your browser's language setting (or, failing that, the country Cloudflare reports) points to a language we publish in, we redirect you there once and set a cookie named NEXT_LOCALE so the choice sticks. It holds only a language code, lasts one year, and is never sent to anyone else. Delete it to reset. There are no advertising or third-party cookies.
4. Third parties
Pages load no third-party scripts other than Cloudflare's analytics beacon. Fonts are served from our own domain. Evidence entries link to external sources — publishers, companies, regulators — and once you follow such a link, that site's policy applies, not ours.
5. The subscription, the waitlist and VOLO Pro (optional)
If you ask VOLO to follow occupations for you, we store your email address, your language, the occupations you chose, the confirmation and unsubscribe token, and the dates issues were sent — in a Cloudflare D1 database attached to our conversation service, separate from this site, which holds no database of its own. We store no name, no employment situation and no conversation. Nothing is sent until you click the confirmation link in the first email; every issue carries a one-click unsubscribe, which stops sending immediately; write to the address below to have the row deleted. Emails are sent through a transactional email provider, which sees the address and the message in order to deliver it.
If you join the waitlist for the first paid product on the plan page, we store your email address, your language, a confirmation token and the dates you joined, confirmed or left — plus, only if you give them, the occupation page you came from, one sentence about a task you would try AI on, and whether you would test an early version. That sentence is the one piece of free text we hold; the form asks you not to include client names or anything confidential. It lives in a separate Cloudflare D1 database from the subscription, attached to the same service. You are only on the list after clicking the confirmation link; we write once when the product opens and not again; the confirmation email has a link to leave the list, and you can write to the address below to have the row deleted.
If you open VOLO Pro (described on the pro page; free during its launch), we store your email address, the dates your access runs and each grant or renewal with how it was paid if it was (a method and a reference, never card or account details), the occupations and degrees you follow, the tasks you marked as yours, the experiments you log (the step you hand to AI, your quality check, your rule, and for each instance its date, minutes, whether it passed and an optional note), a SHA-256 digest of your key if you generate one (never the key itself), and when you last asked for a brief — in the same Cloudflare D1 database as the waitlist. What you log is private to your account: it is never used as public evidence, never published as a case study, and never written to our logs, which record only which page or tool was used. Signing in adds a one-time link valid for 20 minutes and a session valid for 30 days, both stored only as digests and deleted once they expire; the cookie is set on account.flyvolo.ai alone and does nothing but keep you signed in. We also keep the language for our emails and which reminders we have sent, so each is sent once. On the account page you can download all of it as a file, or delete your account yourself; deletion is immediate and keeps only records of payments, if you ever made one, as the law requires.
6. Your rights
Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act and, where it applies, the GDPR, you may ask what personal data we hold about you and request its correction or deletion. Unless you subscribed, joined the waitlist or opened VOLO Pro, we hold nothing tied to you and the honest answer will be "none" — but you are welcome to ask, and we will reply. If you use VOLO Pro, you can download or delete your data yourself on the account page, without asking.
7. Changes
This page changes when the facts change — for example, if we ever add accounts or a contact form. Each version carries its effective date at the top; we do not edit it silently.
