Evidence stage
DeploymentAn employer has put it into production. Can move the baseline — weighted by scale and how similar the setting is.
Tasks this bears on
Working out which partner is real
Mapping who already sells to the customers you want, then working out which of them has actual distribution rather than a logo page and a willingness to sign.
Automating✓ Evidence-backed
Where this applies
A cloud provider describing its own partner programme. To streamline the partner validation process, AWS launched an AI agent in AWS Partner Central that gives partners immediate feedback on their AI specialisation applications; the company's partner blog the next day says the validation agent automatically processes documentation and provides real-time feedback, reducing processing time by up to 70%. It vets partners' technical competency for a programme AWS runs, not whether a partner has real distribution; the 70% is AWS's own best case, and AWS still decides who is validated.
What this means
Checking whether a would-be partner can actually do what it claims is being handed in part to an AI agent at one of the largest partner programmes. The first pass on the paperwork is automated; the judgement about who is worth backing is not.
What it does not yet show
One vendor's programme and its own best-case figure; it does not show fewer partner managers or better partner choices.
What you can check
Open AWS What's New of Nov 30, 2025 and find "AWS today launched an AI agent in AWS Partner Central that provides partners with immediate feedback".
Does it change the assessment?
No. The impact index is never moved by a single event. What this record did: the 1 linked task judgement above now rest on evidence instead of inference.
