Where this applies
A court circular applying to all matters in Singapore's Supreme Court from 1 October 2024, for all court users including witnesses. It says a court user is fully responsible for the content in all their court documents, must check that any AI-generated output used is accurate and relevant, and that generative AI tools should not be used to generate any evidence they wish to rely on in court. It applies in court, not in statutory adjudication or arbitration where many construction payment disputes are decided, and it applies to everyone rather than to quantity surveyors specifically.
