Where this applies
A cross-sectional study in which five AI models (ChatGPT-4o, Gemini 2.5 Pro, Claude 4.1, Bing Chat and Perplexity) generated 60 three-day diet plans for four standardized adolescent profiles, compared with a dietitian's reference plan for each. Micronutrients varied significantly between models and no model showed consistent proximity to the dietitian across all nutrients; the authors conclude AI-based dietary recommendations are not appropriate to use without professional oversight. Standardized profiles, not patients.
What this means
An AI meal plan reads well but its numbers drift from what a dietitian would prescribe.
What it does not yet show
One comparison on standardized adolescent profiles; newer models and other groups may differ.
What you can check
Open the Frontiers in Nutrition article comparing AI and dietitian diet plans for adolescents and find "consistent proximity to the dietitian".
Does it change the assessment?
No — and this stage does not move it either. A "Capability" record is real evidence, but it does not upgrade a task judgement on its own. The 1 linked judgement above stand where they were.
