A study of a didactic laboratory with practitioners from a Master's degree course in Design for the Fashion System at Politecnico di Milano, examining how generative AI was integrated at stages of the design process. It reports that collaborations with AI were not clearly defined, and that lack of control over the process led designers to use tools inconsistently, overestimate their generative capabilities and predominantly adopt blind acceptance.
