China. The national driver training and testing syllabus, issued by the transport and public security ministries and in force from 1 April 2022, allows driving simulators for teaching but says simulator teaching hours may not exceed 6. It encourages combining classroom and online teaching, and adds understanding driver-assistance devices and using driver-assistance functions to the teaching content. The rest of the practical hours are taught in real cars.
