Guangdong, China. The provincial transport department launched a pilot, running from January 2023 to December 2025, of motion driving simulators and intelligent robot coach cars. The robot coach cars must deliver AI teaching for every item in the basic and training-ground part of the national syllabus, and may be used only on an enclosed ground of at least 5,000 square metres, not mixed with ordinary training cars. No more than 3 schools per city in the Pearl River Delta and 2 elsewhere may take part, in principle. The department says it will propose rules on training-hour recognition and the ratio of people to cars after the pilot; the notice reports no results.
