Evidence stage
CapabilityA demo, benchmark or paper shows the task can be done. Updates what the technology can do — not what employers will do.
Tasks this bears on
Field measurement
Measuring positions, levels and features on the ground with GNSS, total stations, drones and scanners.
Being augmented✓ Evidence-backed
Processing data and drafting plans
Turning measurements, point clouds and images into coordinates, maps and survey plans.
Being augmented≈ Platform inference
Where this applies
Czech Republic. Over twelve test areas, drone photogrammetry and laser scanning were checked against control points measured with RTK-GNSS and total stations. The required cadastral accuracy of 0.14 m was achieved on more than 80 percent of points from image point clouds and orthoimages and 98 percent from the laser point cloud, but the surveys lacked completeness, which must be supplied by geodetic measurements. A study of capability; it does not describe how cadastral offices work.
What this means
Drones can measure most cadastral points accurately enough, but not all of them.
What it does not yet show
Twelve test areas in one country.
What you can check
Open the article in ISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information 10(6):380 (mdpi.com) and find "must be supplied by geodetic measurements".
Does it change the assessment?
No — and this stage does not move it either. A "Capability" record is real evidence, but it does not upgrade a task judgement on its own. The 2 linked judgements above stand where they were.
