ConstraintFailure, rollback, regulation or cost is suppressing adoption. Can lower an assessment or widen its uncertainty.
Tasks this bears on
Running the room
Thirty children, one adult, forty minutes: attention, behaviour, safety, and the child who is quietly not okay.
Still human-led✓ Evidence-backed
Where this applies
England. The regulations say a person may not carry out specified work in a school unless they are a qualified teacher or meet one of the conditions in the schedule (such as working under a teacher's direction); specified work includes planning and preparing lessons, delivering lessons, assessing pupils' progress and reporting on it, and 'delivering' includes delivery via distance learning or computer-aided techniques. Read as made; in force from 1 April 2012. It applies to maintained schools, not academies, and predates AI.
What this means
In English maintained schools, teaching a class is legally a qualified person's work, even when a computer delivers part of it.
What it does not yet show
Maintained schools only, read as made, and written before AI.
What you can check
Open The Education (Specified Work) (England) Regulations 2012 and find "may not carry out specified work in a school unless".
Does it change the assessment?
No. The impact index is never moved by a single event. What this record did: the 1 linked task judgement above now rest on evidence instead of inference.
