DeploymentAn employer has put it into production. Can move the baseline — weighted by scale and how similar the setting is.

Where this applies
Japan, works directly managed by the national ministry. The ministry's own meeting paper says that from fiscal 2025 ICT construction became the default for earthworks and dredging, carried out in over 90% of tendered direct civil works, and lists reduced staking (丁張) work and no need for workers at the machine's side among the benefits of ICT construction machines; the meeting minutes put the fiscal 2025 implementation rate at 93%. National civil works only; it counts works tendered as ICT works and gives no change in setting-out workers' numbers.
What this means
On the Japanese state's own earthworks, the stakes that crews used to set out by hand are mostly replaced by machine guidance from 3D data.
What it does not yet show
National civil works only, not building sites; no figures on setting-out jobs or hours.
What you can check
Open the ministry's meeting paper and find 「丁張作業の削減」.
Does it change the assessment?
No. The impact index is never moved by a single event. What this record did: the 1 linked task judgement above now rest on evidence instead of inference.
